Shoreline Sightseeing’s 4th annual Hard Cider Tasting Cruise will not only take you to see breathtaking views of Chicago while you’re on the water, but you’ll also get to sample a wide variety of ciders while on your cruise. This year, the ciders you’ll get to sample will be from both local and national manufacturers.
Before you start sampling your cider choices, you’ll get an educational overview about the way you can sample cider, how different ciders taste, and the best way to pair ciders with food to bolster your taste buds. You’ll get to try a bevy of appetizers while pairing them with various ciders so you experience the different tastes and variety of cider.
While you sample your cider, you’ll also be able to both meet and speak with representatives from the different cider manufacturers you sample. They’ll answer your questions about cider and food pairing while you take in the beautiful sites of Chicago on a 90-minute cruise.
To attend the event, you must be at least 21. A bar will be provided on the cruise with beverages available for purchase. Tickets to the event cost $49, and you must be prepared to board the cruise ship slightly before 7:30 PM. The ship departs at 7:30 PM and returns at 9:00 PM.
